Catherine Sheehan.
Brand Strategist.
Healthy Skeptic + Studier of People + Never Met a Business Problem I Didn’t Like.
I’m here to help…
Legacy brands reimagine their story so they can reclaim their relevance and momentum.
Leaders of remote workforces tell brand stories that make their people feel more connected and motivated to move the company forward.
Founders suffering from impostor syndrome recognize and give voice to their unique brand story.
Big thinkers who aren’t writers translate their vision into stories that make their ideas real.
Who I am
A listener and a translator.
I’m not a surface dweller. I go deep with my clients so they feel heard and understood. So that we develop a shared belief in what’s possible. So that, together, we emerge with a story that makes your vision real and makes your business move.
My personal and professional calling is to give voice to ideas and ambitions so they come to life in the world and make people believe.
I bring simplicity and clarity to the messy, complex, emotional process of creating something new.
Things I’m unusually good at
Seeing something in the mess. I can digest an enormous amount and huge range of inputs and distill them down - quickly - into focused so-whats.
Wrangling big rooms and disparate opinions. It takes a lot of points of view to get to a powerful single-minded strategy. I’ve got a knack for socializing ideas and building consensus so we cohere as a team and work towards a shared vision.
Strategies that both clarify and inspire. Plenty of strategies are perfectly accurate and quickly end up as forgotten powerpoint slides. Others sound awesome but can’t be executed.. Mine set a clear path and get clients fired up to start walking.
Teaching people about people. I never get tired of watching senior executives react when I tell them Gen Z’s - most of whom are still kids - say Diversity, Climate Change, and Terrorism are their top concerns. Yet their #1 fear in life is losing their phone.
Busting insiders and experts out of institutional thinking. It’s a work session I run called Dogma/Heresy. It’s super challenging. It’s utterly transformational. Let’s talk about it.
